KELLY Clarkson has announced she is ready to date as a source has spilled all of the talk show host’s feelings on the dating scene.

The insider claims Kelly‘s recent slimdown has left her feeling “better than ever” after her divorce from her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.

A source close to Kelly, 41, told OK! Magazine, “She’s open to dating in the future.”

“Her divorce did a number on her, and she is not in a rush to be in a serious relationship again, but Kelly is ready to have some fun,” the insider gushed.

“Kelly’s lost around 50 pounds [and] it’s encouraged her to dress a lot more youthfully and try different trends,” the source told the outlet.

Kelly filed for divorce from Brandon in 2020 and the split was finalized in March 2022.

The former couple met at Super Bowl XLVI in February 2012 and eloped the following year.

They share two children, a daughter River Rose, nine, and a son Remington Alexander, seven.

After the split, Kelly shocked her audiences by shedding the pounds, and fans noticed her happy glow.

ALL THE FIXINGS’

Previously, an insider told The U.S. Sun that Kelly has been combining smart eating choices and regular exercises since her move to New York City.

“Kelly has lost about 40 pounds in the last six months and it’s gotten her fans excited about it, but it’s not quite as big a deal for Kelly herself or the team on the show because Kelly is constantly updating her look, her workouts, and her diet,” the source revealed.

“Internally, it didn’t play a massive transformation the way it has for her fans and people observing from the sidelines.”

“I think Kelly would be personally offended if her recent weight loss was linked to her being single again,” the insider gushed.

“That’s not where Kelly is coming from at all. She’s constantly evolving, and she’s always been that way,” Kelly’s confidant concluded.

GLOW UP

Last month a source told The U.S. Sun, “Kelly is just at the end of the process of rebuilding her life after her divorce, which was more complicated and drawn out than anybody expected because Brandon was so tied into the music side of Kelly’s business.”

“She now has room in her life for somebody new but she really only has one route to meet that person, and that’s via getting set up, which she says she is open to if the matchmaker is somebody she trusts,” the source shared.

“The problem continues to be that Kelly is very tightly scheduled and lives in a bubble between her mom duties at home and her talk show’s taping schedule.”

“She’ll be much more available for dating and romance in June when her show goes on break and she has the summer to herself,” the insider concluded.

DIVORCE LOWS

In January, the Since U Been Gone singer spoke openly about the depression and feelings of loneliness that had come with divorce.

“Kelly is not actively dating right now because she’s very focused on being a mom and making her show,” another insider told The U.S. Sun.

“There isn’t room for much else at the moment but that is changing.”

“The release of Kelly’s Chemistry album last year was a big step forward for her because it was her first release in many years that Brandon wasn’t involved in at all,” the insider continued.

“Kelly needed to take control of that process and see it through herself. “It allowed her to turn the page and make a fresh start for herself, but a new relationship hasn’t materialized yet.”
