Kelly, 41, dished out stern parenting advice to her viewers during Monday’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The TV star hosted professional basketball player Dwyane Wade, 42, and the pair spoke about his new documentary, The Dads.

The 11-minute movie, executively produced by the athlete, follows the fathers of five trans kids who head on a weekend fishing trip in Oklahoma.

In the short film, the group bonds over their shared love for their children and the important role they have in fighting for their rights.

Dwyane explained to Kelly that the doc shows the dads being “expressive and vulnerable” which he added can be “hard as men.”

He continued to say that support is important because “sometimes you feel like you’re out here on your own.”

The talk show host replied, “And nobody understands.”

Kelly continued, “Yeah I think it’s important and also I think we can be that world. I am a positive person but we can be that world but we need things like this.

“It’s just simply about loving whoever they came out to be. You know what I’m saying? They came out of the womb, whoever they are.

“Like, it’s that easy. We like to complicate the hell out of stuff but like it’s that easy.”

Dwyane replied, “It’s that easy.”

DIFFICULT DIVORCE

Kelly married producer and stepson of country music legend Reba McEntire, Brandon Blackstock, in 2013.

She filed for divorce from the 47-year-old in 2020, citing irreconcilable differences.

It was announced that the divorce had been finalized in March 2022.

The former couple share a daughter River Rose, 9, and son Remington Alexander, 7.

Brandon also has two older kids – daughter Savannah, 19, and son Seth, 16 – from his previous marriage to Melissa Ashworth.

Kelly has been very open about how hard she has found it to move on since splitting from her now ex-husband.

READY FOR LOVE?

But although she has not found love since then, an insider with close ties to The Kelly Clarkson Show exclusively told The U.S. Sun this week that may soon change.

“Kelly is just at the end of the process of rebuilding her life after her divorce, which was more complicated and drawn out than anybody expected because Brandon was so tied into the music side of Kelly’s business,” the insider shared.

“She now has room in her life for somebody new but she really only has one route to meet that person, and that’s via getting set up, which she says she is open to if the matchmaker is somebody she trusts.

“The problem continues to be that Kelly is very tightly scheduled and lives in a bubble between her mom duties at home and her talk show’s taping schedule.”

“She’ll be much more available for dating and romance in June when her show goes on break and she has the summer to herself,” the source added.
