In the funny clip, the first-ever American Idol winner said, “Before the show, we were doing some rehearsals and running through the introduction to our first guest and it got kinda ridiculous.

“It had us all asking ‘What’s the deal with Kelly Clarkson and words?”

Next, she showed a montage of her slurring her words as well as creating her own.

“So, I’m gonna be real. I took a Claritin,” she stated, discussing how bad her allergies were.”I knew Benadry; and Micinex were bad for me.”

The pop music singer continued, “I can’t take certain allergy medications ’cause it makes me loopy.

“Like, people [will] think I’m stoned. So I took a different one. Turns out, same situation.

“So, it’s a really weird show, but I promise I can read.”

Meanwhile, Jerry thought it was absolutely amusing watching Kelly struggle through her introduction speech.

“Kelly… Look, Claritin is not that strong,” the comedian joked during their interview.

Kelly explained that she moved to New York for her talk show and that her allergies were bad and described them as “different.”

Jerry told Kelly she was an HSP, which stands for a highly sensitive person – to which the star agreed.

He then questioned, “What else are you on right now? Because you’re really going crazy!”

During the show, Kelly flaunted her stunning weight loss in a green ensemble.

While on her journey, she reportedly lost about 50 pounds.

The Since U Been Gone hitmaker wore a bright green dress with a leopard-print belt around her stomach and matched it with heels.

She kept her dirty blonde hair down as well as showcasing bangs.

In a post shared on her Instagram, fans praised the star for her looks.

“Kelly’s favorite color is green, now I can see why,” one said. “She looks so gorgeous in this dress.”
