Roker appeared to be sitting in a smaller chair than his co-stars as they celebrated Thursday’s festivities by commenting on balloons and floats going past the trio.

The 70-year-old is the shortest of the three parade hosts standing at 5 feet 8 inches.

Guthrie is the tallest at 5’10, while Kotb is 5’9.

However, viewers poked fun at Roker for sitting below his fellow commentators.

“Why does Al Roker look like a Hobbit sitting at the NBC table with Hoda Kotb lol,” one user wrote on X.

“Why did NBC give Al Roker a chair from the kids table?” another joked.

“Why are they doing Al Roker dirty like this and making him look like he’s 3 feet tall?” A third teased.

“Can someone get Al Roker a normal sized chair?” another wrote.Another noted, “You really get a sense of how tall Savannah and Hoda are when they’re sitting next to Al Roker.”

However, most onlookers were sympathetic to Roker’s antics as social media users even deemed him a “national treasure.”

The veteran weatherman has hosted the Thanksgiving parade since 1995, but it didn’t stop him from having trouble using his microphone.

“Roker has been on TV my entire life and still can’t talk into a microphone lmao,” one X user wrote.

“How is it that Al Roker has been doing this parade for 79 years and doesn’t know how to use a microphone?” another joked.

“Someone tell Al Roker to hold the mic closer to his mouth when speaks,” a third shared.

After his microphone blunders, Roker got called out by actress and singer Idina Menzel when he accidentally gave a spoiler for the Wicked movie starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.

While interviewing Menzel, who starred in the original Broadway production of Wicked, Roker revealed that she had a cameo in the new movie.

“You’re not supposed to tell anyone about the cameo!” Menzel reprimanded him.

“Cat’s out of the bag,” she teased, leading Roker to defend himself and say, “everyone’s been sharing everything online.”
