TODAY show star Hoda Kotb has shared a cryptic message about facing obstacles in life as rumors of her alleged feud with co-host Savannah Guthrie continue to circulate.

The talk show host, 57, shared a tweet from the journalist Arianna Huffington, who promoted an article that claimed life is about change.

Rumors have circulated for months that Today show stars Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb are locked in a feud

On July 19, Huffington shared a line from the article that said: “We all face obstacles, but I’ve learned that life can be good when we accept inherent changes that come with it.”

Kotb shared Huffington’s tweet to her two million followers on Instagram.

Claims have been made for months that Guthrie and Kotb are feuding off-screen.

A source close to production on the Today Show told The Sun that the pair secretly “can’t stand each other”.

The insider said: “Savannah is the boss. After Matt Lauer was ousted, Savannah grabbed power, and she really wanted Willy Geist in Hoda’s role, but his ratings were just not up to par for the network.

“Hoda out maneuvered Savannah and got the spot.”

The source claimed that Guthrie “thinks of herself as a real news person”, while Kotb is viewed as a “lightweight”.

Kotb appeared to snub Guthrie on-air during a broadcast of the Today show on July 17.

They welcomed Lizzo as the musical guest who performed on the outdoor stage as part of the Citi Summer Concert Series.

At one point, Kotb excitedly grabbed Lizzo’s hand and guided her into the packed crowd to greet her fans.

Guthrie followed them down the stairs with their co-anchors, Craig Melvin and Dylan Dreyer but it appeared that Kotb seemed to hurry Lizzo along.

On July 15, Today show fans claimed to have spotted some awkward tensions on-air between Guthrie and Kotb during a cooking segment.

Body language expert Patti Wood claimed that Guthrie wants to control Kotb.

She told The Sun: “In the short segment, Savannah shows that she feels she is the grown-up, the parent, and in charge and thinks the laughing playful Hoda is not paying attention to the rules.”

But, despite the alleged feud, Today is reportedly neck-and-neck with its rival Good Morning America.

As of July 4, data revealed that the NBC show gained about more than 1,000 viewers from the previous week.

Today raked in 2.7 million total viewers the week of July 4th.
