ROBIN Roberts has taken a long-term absence from Good Morning America.
The host shared her adventures on social media as the morning show revealed her replacement.
Robin, 63 has been on GMA all week, alongside Michael Strahan and George Stephanopoulos.
However, she announced on Tuesday that it would be her last day for a while as she travels around America for different projects.
“Good morning,” Robin began her video. “We are ready to hit the road again.”
“Going to leave a little bit early, so we can get down to Iowa to talk to Caitlin Clark.”
Caitlin is a college basketball player for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
“Got my Iowa colors on, even got my tennis shoes ready,” Robin continued.
She then told her followers that she is going to Los Angeles for an “exclusive interview.”
“Then, we’re on to Nashville for Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood,” The GMA host said.
Robin then ended the video with the morning message and prayer.
ROBIN’S REPLACEMENT
After being on the morning show on Monday and Tuesday, Robin headed out.
Therefore, she needed a replacement for Wednesday.
GMA picked Rebecca Jarvis to sit next to Michael, 52, and George, 63.
It is not clear if she will be the replacement for the whole time Robin is out.
However, the main host is expected to return next week.
Rebecca, 42, was recently on an extended leave from GMA as she was on maternity leave for her second child.
ROCKIN’ ADVENTURES
Robin documented her time away by sharing videos to her Instagram Story.
The first video had Robin outside of the Hawkeye’s arena.
Robin said that she had just finished up her interview with Caitlin.
She then said that she was onto L.A. for her next interview.
But, before the host left, she shot some hoops in the Hawkeye Arena.
Robin made it into the hoop as her Glam Team cheered.
The last video was of the clouds as she sat on a plane.
“Great time in Iowa. Crossing out beautiful country to next assignment in LA,” Robin captioned the video.
