GMA’s Dr Jen Ashton has revealed a major life change outside the show involving her health.

Jen shared a photo to her personal Instagram of her “sipping tequila” collection on Monday.

She kept multiple bottles of tequila on a glass tray alongside a plant, with plenty of ornate bottles on offer, many of them missing plenty of liquid.

The 54-year-old had an important message to share alongside her collection of tequila.

“I LOVE my sipping tequila collection, but…I’m prolonging dry January (now on 5 weeks),” she wrote.

“Since I am proactive about every other aspect of my health and wellness, I am moving towards a state of ‘rarely’ consuming alcohol. (I will definitely make an exception when I’m on vacation) And while I do dry JENuary every year, this is the first year that I’ve continued it into February. Anyone else?” Jen concluded.

Fans were immediately supportive of Jen’s decision.

They descended on her Instagram post with words of encouragement.

Many of the commenters also echoed her decision and were planning on skipping drinking for the month as well, or indefinitely.

“Good for you! I don’t drink! No regrets ever! No health benefits at all,” one wrote.

“I did dry January in 2020 and haven’t looked back. I wish you the best in limiting your consumption!” another added.

“Me too! I’m training for a marathon for my 40th this weekend and need all the help I can get! Haha,” a third chimed in.

“Me too!! I’ve decided to only drink when we go out, I love it! I have a cup of herbal tea or a nice cocktail instead while I’m cooking dinner,” added a fourth.

Recently, Jen made another important announcement based on her career outside of GMA3.

She headed to her Instagram account to share that she had completed the second issue of her self-titled magazine, Dr Jen Ashton.

She appeared on the cover of the magazine sporting a white T-shirt and a shimmering silver wrap skirt.

Her arms were folded and she looked into the camera sporting a ponytail with a dark smokey eye and large diamond earrings.

The cover boasted that the magazine contained “Trusted Health, Wellness & Nutrition for Women.”

“UT TODAY! The 2nd issue of my magazine jam-packed with elevated, current, impactful info for women!” Jen wrote in her caption.

“The first issue set a sales record and this issue is even better! From Fibroid treatment options most women aren’t told about, to my 5day-2day eating plan to reset your weight, to an interview with the @u.s.surgeongeneral on the latest epidemic facing our country…even why Golf is a great sport for getting fit (and my latest obsession) and more!”

The first issue of Jen’s magazine was known as Better With Dr Jen Ashton.

It debuted in June 2023.

The magazine seems to have since changed its name.

This project is clearly important to Jen and it seems additional issues will soon be on their way.

In mid-December, Jen showed off something beyond her penchant for educating viewers and empowering women.

She put her age-defying figure on display in a steamy swimsuit while on vacation.

She took to her personal Instagram to share a sneak peek at what she had been up to during her time away.

“Morning laps 3rd day in a row,” she captioned a photo of herself in a revealing swimsuit.

The 54-year-old leaned on a cliff while wearing a black and white bikini top.

The swimsuit was a halter top style that appeared to tie around her neck.

A hint of cleavage could be seen with the way Jen had posed by the rock.

Her wet hair was slicked back in a ponytail and she wore minimal makeup.

The only thing she left on from her normal outfit was a small, dainty gold chain around her neck.

Though she’s 54, she showed no signs of aging in the youthful snap.

Jen often wears similarly revealing swimsuits and has a history of showing off her fit frame.
