GENERAL Hospital star Steve Burton has finally revealed exactly when he’s coming back as Jason Morgan.

The 53-year-old actor was fired from the show in 2021 but announced during the soap’s big 60th anniversary event last month that he’s returning.

Steve announced on Monday that he is coming back as Jason on General Hospital next month.

The air date for his first episode back is currently set for March 4.

“So, here’s what’s crazy is I’m back on the set,” Steve said in an exclusive video for the Daily Drama podcast. “We’re getting ready to shoot right now.”

He teased that he’s been talking to the show’s writers and his character’s return storyline is “going to be sick.”

“It’s gonna be awesome, so make sure you keep watching because the pieces of the puzzle are gonna be fit for when I return,” Steve added.

He finished off the clip by telling fans his first episode back airs on March 4 and for everyone to “stay tuned and keep watching…because it’s gonna be awesome.”

Steve was let go from the show in 2021 after he and ABC disagreed over the Covid-19 vaccine mandate.

His character, Jason, was presumed dead after he was involved in a tunnel collapse.

The actor’s return was revealed last month on the primetime special, General Hospital: 60 Years of Stars and Storytelling.

“Happy Anniversary General Hospital,” Steve said in a clip while wearing Jason’s iconic leather jacket.

“Stay tuned. Big things are coming to Port Charles.

A few days ago, Steve revealed he was set to return to the GH set this week to begin filming for his grand return.

“Miss him a lot,” one fan said on social media after hearing he’s coming back.

“Yay I’m so excited welcome back Steve aka stone cold missed ya lot,” said a second.

“I love him, I am so happy he is coming back,” an X user wrote.

“Can’t wait for Steve Burton’s return as Jason Morgan on ABC’s #GeneralHospital!!! YAY!!!” another fan said.
