ELLEN DeGeneres has ditched her reclusive lifestyle for a huge public appearance.

The television star joined forces with Robin Roberts and Oprah Winfrey for a big motivational event on Monday.Ellen DeGeneres joined a star-studded panel on Monday for the book Worthy

Ellen, 66, joined the celebrity panel for Becoming Unstoppable; a free event run by Worthy author Jamie Kern Lima.

The live-streamed motivational talk had 259,000 attendees, putting Ellen in the spotlight once more.

In the live stream of the panel shared on YouTube, Ellen appeared as a surprise guest.

Ellen dialed in from her huge mansion, and looked comfortable in a black turtleneck, going makeup-free with her hair styled in her usual blond crop.

Film star Ellen gushed over the book, recalling how she struggled to feel worthy as a young woman dealing with her sexuality.

She then said the book was especially important to her at present, seeing as she was “writing a new stand-up special right now.”

Ellen’s explanation of the importance of Worthy to her confirmed her return to comedy, after giving a glimpse of her work earlier this month.

On February 14, Ellen showed off her stand-up skills at Largo in Los Angeles, where she gave a surprise set for Beth Stelling’s Beth & Pals show.

In a clip from the night she shared on Instagram, the daytime TV star was seen socializing with the other performers, including Sarah Silverman and Aidy Bryant, before she took to the stage.

The video cut off before she started her set, but Ellen hinted that fans could see her stand-up performance soon.

“Yay back to your roots! Loved your stand up can’t wait!” gushed one of her fans in the comment section.

END OF AN ERA

Back in 2022, Ellen left her daytime talk show after 19 seasons, with her final episode airing on May 26.

“Today, I have an announcement to make,” the star said to her audience while on the show.

“Today, I am announcing that next season, Season 19, is going to be my last season.”

Ellen continued, “I want you to know that I thought a lot about this decision.”

“The point is I need to take a break from talking. I always knew in my heart that Season 19 would be my last.”

Ellen’s decision to step down from her talk show followed years of declining ratings and allegations from staff members about workplace conditions.

On The Today Show, Ellen insisted that the allegations were false, and admitted that she’d told her wife, Portia de Rossi, that people were “trying to hurt her.”

BACK TO BUSINESS

Last September, Ellen made her big return to television with a nature documentary.

Branching out from celebrity talk shows, the star led a two-hour Discovery Channel special called Saving The Gorillas: Ellen’s Next Adventure.

The documentary followed Ellen’s journey as she continued the legacy of primatologist Dian Fossey, working to build the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund in Rwanda.

The comedian also opened the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Fian Fossey Gorilla Fund in February 2022, which has welcomed over 40,000 visitors

“Every single thing has led me to just have a big enough platform to say, ‘Look at work Dian Fossey did,’ Ellen said of her venture.

“There’s nothing that keeps you more present, more in the moment, than sitting with gorillas.”

The star also told Robin Roberts, Oprah, and viewers at home that she was 'writing a stand-up special'
