DUNE: Part Two star Josh Brolin has addressed fans speculating that he wants to make out with co-star Timothée Chalamet.

Josh appeared on Good Morning America on Tuesday’s episode to discuss his role as Gurney Halleck in the new movie Dune: Part Two.

Josh sat down with anchors Lara Spencer and George Stephanopoulos during the conversation.

Lara, 54, mentioned that Josh had been “writing poetry” in addition to performing in his role in Dune: Part Two.

“For the coffee table book, right? For Timothée Chalamet?” Lara asked Josh.

“Yeah,” the actor admitted, rubbing his eyes, seemingly annoyed

The studio erupted with laughter at his response.

“That’s gotten out of control. When you’re an older actor and you’re looking at new, young, great talent, I get excited, especially about people who work hard,” Josh explained.

“I’m sitting there writing because I don’t have a scene that day. I’m writing these nice things. Then the internet grabs hold of it and thinks I want to make out with Timothée or something. It makes no sense. It says more about them than it does about me,” he concluded.

It seemed Josh didn’t understand the nonsensical notion that he was romantically interested in Timothée, understandably so.

Meanwhile, fans of Timothée and his real-life love interest Kylie Jenner have been insisting the pair have split.

He’s been busy touring the world on the promotional trail for his new sci-fi blockbuster, Dune: Part Two.

On Sunday, Timothée made a stop at the New York premiere to promote the sequel.

But Kylie was notably missing.

At the special event, the 28-year-old star donned a caramel-colored leather shirt.

He paired the edgy look with black leather pants and matching boots.

FAN THEORIES

In an online thread, fans speculated why Kylie, 26, did not show up at the Big Apple event to support her boyfriend.

“This was the last stop on this press tour. So I guess she’s been dumped,” one fan claimed.

“[Kylie] hasn’t gone to anything regarding Dune with him,” another fan noted.

“It’s really over for [Kylie] now because [Timothee] has no more press to do and is going to be moving to New York and Montreal soon for the Bob Dylan biopic, which starts filming in March. He’s done with her,” another fan speculated.

“Kylie, girl, you’re shining silver on the Titanic. Let him go,” a fourth person wrote.

“[Timothee] has back-to-back movie filming until the end of 2024. No more time for [Kylie],” a commentator chimed.

While on the red carpet in Seoul, South Korea, Timothée looked somber while promoting his latest movie.

Photos captured the actor posing on the red carpet with his co-star, Zendaya, 27.

While the duo wore matching leather jumpsuits, Zendaya sported pink and Timothée dressed in gray with a belt at the waist.

Followers suggested he seemed moody due to his possible breakup.

THE SPLIT?

Fans have speculated the former E! star and the Wonka actor had called it quits around Valentine’s Day due to her post.

In mid-February, the former E! star shared snapshots on her Instagram Stories of the gifts she prepared for her kids.

“I’m excited for my Valentines to wake up,” she wrote, referencing her kids.

“Where is [Timothée]?” one person asked.

“Thought she was gonna post Timmy,” another person wondered.

Days later, followers became convinced the mother of two shared “thirst traps” in order to get Timothée’s attention.

The TV star posted photos and a video of herself posing in a tiny black bikini on a sunlounger during her vacation with friends.

“Home away from home,” she wrote.

“Thirst traps for Tim?” a commentator wondered.

“The desperation!” another commentator said.

Kylie and Timothée began dating in March 2023 but kept their relationship private for the first few months.
