DREW Barrymore has admitted on live TV that she enjoys going commando.
The talk show host made the revealing admission, as well as her daughter’s mischievous prank in response to her wardrobe choice, during Thursday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show
While discussing the recent revelation that Martha Stewart, 82, doesn’t wear underwear and prefers swimsuits under her clothes instead, both Drew, 49, and guest Chloe Fineman, 35, revealed they prefer to go commando.
“Going commando” is a slang term for going without undergarments.
Drew revealed that one of her daughters “tries to pants all the time” because she knows her mom doesn’t wear underwear.
The Wedding Singer star has two daughters Olive, 11, and Frankie, nine, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Will Kopelman.
Reading her co-host Ross Matthew’s shocked reaction, Drew quickly asserted, “It’s a joke.”
A prank that she made sure her daughter knows is just “an inside-the-house thing.”
Recently, Austin Butler, 32, appeared completely smitten with Drew during a recent episode of her talk show.
The Elvis actor was a guest on Tuesday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show.
“Funny enough, I have my first date in a long time,” Drew admitted.
She said she wasn’t excited about it, jokingly.
“I dread these things, because they’re awkward,” the 49-year-old explained.
She said her date offered to pick her up and take her out to a long dinner.
“Everyone says when you go on a date with someone, don’t do the dinner, do a drink, but I don’t know better,” the actress lamented.
“I like the dinner,” Austin admitted.
“Then you know if it doesn’t work. You get to talk. You’re gonna have a good time. I’ve got a good feeling about it,” the 32-year-old told Drew with a smoldering gaze.
Drew wondered aloud what she should do if she got “weird vibes” while on the date.
“Then run,” Austin suggested.
“You go to the bathroom and you call a friend and you have them give you a surprise call. You want me to do that?” he offered.
Drew agreed, and Austin said he would be “her friend.”
“I think that would be amazing,” he said, with a friendly smile.
“I can’t wait to get updates,” he added.
Drew begged him to be her friend for the purpose of the date.
“Just send me a text later,” Austin assured her, saying he would.
FEELING THE HEAT
Fans immediately picked up on the flirtatious vibes from Austin.
“Find a man who look at you like austin butler look at drew,” one wrote.
“Not Austin Butler having a crush on drew barrymore,” another commented.
“The way he looked at her,” a third fan pointed out.
“He said I’ll be your friend, his eyes said something completely different,” a fourth added.
“Oh he is ENAMORED with her,” a fifth joked.
GIVE US BARRY-MORE
On another recent episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the actress found herself getting emotional.
She was reminiscing about her ’90s film Bad Girls at the time while welcoming friends to the show.
Bad Girls stars Andie MacDowell, Dermot Mulroney, and Mary Stuart Masterson joined Drew on her talk show today.
During Drew’s one-on-one moment with Andie, 65, she brought up that 2024 marked the film’s 30th anniversary.
As the Charlie’s Angels actress was recalling how much she enjoyed being in the film, Andie interrupted her to give her a Bad Girls anniversary-related surprise.
The St. Elmo’s Fire notable had morning show production team members adjust the stage to resemble elements of the 1994 Western film.
Placed on the stage were two large identical group promo photos of Bad Girls’ leading ladies: Drew, Andie, Dermot, and Madeleine Stowe.
Taking it up a notch, Andie also invited their co-star Mary, 57, on the show, unbeknownst to Drew.
Drew covered her mouth in shock when she locked eyes with Mary.
Shortly after seeing her, she ran off-stage to hug her.
Tears started flowing between the celebrity women as soon as Mary sat on Drew’s couch beside her and Andie.
