CBS Morning’s Gayle King has been spotted showing off her 30lb weight loss while walking the streets of NYC.
Gayle, 69, outfitted her svelte frame with a bright green dress and a cream double-breasted trench coat that clung to her thin figure.
She paired the outfit with towering green floral heels and a powder blue tote bag.
The anchor wore her copper red hair down around her shoulders and donned a pair of fashionable glasses to go with her outfit.
Gayle appeared to be on her way to an undisclosed location in a hurry as she clutched her iPhone in one hand, chatting into her AirPods as she walked.
The broadcaster went on a weight loss journey in 2016 and has appeared to keep it off since.
That year, she lost almost 30lbs, which she had attributed to joining and following a Weight Watchers program.
She kept fans in the loop during her weight loss journey and regularly showed off images of her progress on the scale.
Though Gayle admitted to going up and down in terms of weight lost, she kept herself accountable at that time.
Eating differently wasn’t her only weapon when it comes to weight loss, however.
Gayle previously admitted to Oprah that she had done a combination of both cardio and strength workouts
SOUP ONLY
The anchor continued her weight loss journey a few years ago as well.
Gayle shocked fans and viewers in 2020 when she dropped a significant amount of weight.
She shared that she had dropped the weight after a “five-day soup fast.”
At the time, she had gone on the special diet as part of a goal to fit into a specific dress for her Election Night coverage.
Her weight had dropped from 172.2 pounds to 165 pounds at the time.
“Just completed 5 day soup fast & the results are in!” she wrote in a social media post to share with fans.
“Trying to get into mustard yellow dress for Elex night coverage TONITE ..praying to sweet black baby Jesus it now fits, that you VOTE, & that there is PEACE.”
She then shared some new snaps that found her in the yellow dress she had previously mentioned, having lost the weight needed to fit into it.
She wrote in the caption: “THEEE yellow dress aka Elex nite dress!
Gayle previously admitted to Oprah that she had done a combination of both cardio and strength workouts.
