- Taylor Swift Received Big News on Friday Amid Travis Kelce Engagement Rumors
As pop star Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce enjoy their newfound free time during the NFL offseason, Swift has cause for celebration after receiving some big news on Friday.
Swift and Kelce are reportedly taking some time “away from the spotlight” following Kansas City’s disappointing 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans two weeks ago.
In addition to taking some time to grieve the Chiefs’ Super Bowl defeat and failed attempt to become the first team in NFL history to win three straight Super Bowls, Kelce is also taking time to decide whether or not he wants to come back for his 13th season or officially retire. Multiple reports indicate that Swift is supporting Kelce as he mulls over his options.And while Kelce has two potentially life-changing decision to make — whether he wants to retire and when he wants to propose (some believed he would’ve done it after the Super Bowl had the Chiefs won) — Swift has good news to celebrate as it was revealed that her record-breaking “Eras Tour” will be named Tour of the Century at the 2025 iHeart Radio Music Awards.

The “Eras Tour,” which ran from March 2023 to December 2024 and featured 149 shows, broke the record for the highest-grossing tour ever, doing over $2 billion in ticket sales, and it became the first tour ever to gross over $1 billion in sales.
Swift herself is also nominated for several iHeart Radio Music Awards including Artist of the Year, Pop Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration (“Fortnight”), Best Lyrics (“Fortnight”), Best Music Video (“Fortnight”), Favorite Surprise Guest (Travis Kelce), Favorite Tour Style, Favorite Tour Tradition (22 hat), and Favorite On Screen.As for their relationship, Us Weekly recently reported that Kelce does indeed plan to propose to the 14-time Grammy winner, and many of the couple’s friends believe he could do it soon while they’re on vacation.
