Willie’s wife, Christina, shared an Instagram post updating Today and Morning Joe fans about the host’s whereabouts over the weekend.

The brand strategist shared that Willie has been covering the Olympics, and she flew to Paris to spend time with him.

“I don’t share all the movements of my day to day life here,” she began her post.

“But today I’ll just take a sec to capture this light of my life. I flew to Paris for the last 3 days of his 3 weeks working at the Olympics.

When you’ve known someone since 6th grade, these milestone trips are like pins that mark the map of our timeline.”

Christina went on to acknowledge his past achievements and honor him for the work he’s done recently.

“I compare life now to the 4 weeks he was in London 12 years ago, or Vancouver 14 years ago,” she continued.

“He’s still working happily at the career he set his mind to when we were 22. What an achievement…

“He was surrounded over there by a dynamic crew of trusted, good people who are also absolute pros… covering super human athletes who are inspiring the world. What a team.”

She continued by saying her brief trip to the 2024 Olympics was “unforgettable.”

“Merci Beaucoup, Paris, for my own few days of unforgettable Olympic moments,” she said.

Christina signed off letting fans know where when they’ll be able to see Willie again on daytime TV.

“WG will see you all back on Morning Joe Tues, and on Sunday Today next wknd.

“He’s all yours again, viewers,” Christina signed off.

WILLIE’S ENTHUSIASM

While many know Willie for his NBC hosting duties, the Illinois native has ventured into acting.

In February this year, Willie made a six-minute cameo on the hit show Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Willie played himself on an assignment to interview Larry Davis.

He documented the moment in an Instagram post by sharing a sneak peek.

“I know. I can’t believe it either,” Willie wrote. “Let’s watch together tonight to see if it really happened.”

After the episode premiered, fans were excited to share their thoughts about his acting skills.

“You were great!!!” wrote one viewer.

“That was hysterical!” exclaimed another fan.

Willie’s stint on Curb Your Enthusiasm isn’t his first acting gig.

He also played himself in the film The Campaign and voiced Din in Kung Fu Panda 3.
