BACKSTREET Boy Brian Littrell’s son Baylee’s fate on American idol has been revealed as the singer has the ‘talent’ and ‘charisma’ to win the show.

The only child of the boy band icon made his debut on the Idol stage during Sunday’s premiere and was praised by judges for standing his own while performing side-by-side to his superstar dad.

Baylee, 22, said he once dreamed of being the “sixth member of the Backstreet Boys” and took a step in making that goal a reality when he auditioned to be on American Idol’s season 23.

SPOILER ALERT AHEAD

The Georgia college student auditioned with an “emotional” original song for Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie.

“I’ve got an original song for you guys today. This one is a little bit emotional. This one is about me giving up but not giving up yet.

“Trust me I wish I could do something different, but if I don’t do music, there’s no way I can really exist,” he told the panelists before he sang and played guitar.

All three judges were impressed – with new judge Carrie adding that she believes he will make it far in the competition.

“You’re very good. Like, very good. I loved the song and that’s a risk too. When people come in with their own songs.

“That was great and you went there emotionally. I think you could go very, very far in this competition,” Carrie, 42, said with a smile.

As it turns out, Carrie’s prediction ended up being true – as The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal that Baylee’s run on Idol so far has been a massive success after scoring a ticket to Hollywood.

“He makes the Top 24. Which is as far as any contestant can get right now until it turns over to the live shows and America votes.

“Once the live shows begin, it’s out of the judges hands and he’ll have to get enough votes to get through.

“However, there’s no doubt in the judges minds that viewers will keep him around, at least for awhile,” an insider said.

BOY BANDING TOGETHER

I Want It That Way singer Brian welcomed his only child, Baylee, with wife Leighanne Littrell in 2002 and raised him in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia.

Baylee has been vocal about looking up to his dad his whole life, and even believes his vocal gift was passed down from his hero.

“I believe I get my voice from dad, and hopefully I can do him justice today. I guess you could say music runs in our family.

“Following in my dad’s footsteps is scary, because his career, to me, is one of the most extraordinary in music history.

“No one can ever compare,” he boasted about his dad.

Brian appreciates the love, having said in the past: “I hope that I can always be my son’s hero. It doesn’t really matter that I’m a pop star.

“You can call me what you want, but I just want to be my son’s hero.”

ALL IN THE FAMILY

Baylee’s impressive stage presence could be credited to his long history performing with his dad – including opening up for the world-famous boy band when he was just 10 years old.

“I’ve pretty much grown up on the road since I can remember. So my first crib was a bunk on a tour bus.

“So really, my first memories are being out on the road and being abroad.

“I got to introduce my dad at 5 years old. And then when I was 10, I started opening up for them.

I would sing two or three songs before the opener would come out and play their set,” he told People in 2023.

In 2019, Baylee became the Backstreet Boys’ official opening act for their DNA world tour.

“That was the experience of a lifetime. It was an out-of-body experience.

“It was crazy. Every night, it never gets old to hear my dad,” he gushed.
