THE View host Alyssa Farah Griffin has gone missing from the show without any warning to fans.

Joy Behar, who was out the day before, revealed the reason for her co-star’s abrupt absence after noting there were only four hosts at the table instead of five.

At the start of The View on Friday, fans quickly noticed Alyssa was nowhere to be found.

Only Joy, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Sunny Hostin were present – as Alyssa was suddenly out, and Whoopi is always off on Fridays.

With Joy back after her own absence on Thursday, she opened the show by explaining why Alyssa was out.

“Good morning, everyone,” Friday’s moderator said. “Welcome to The View.”

“As you can see, there are only four of us here because Alyssa is out sick,” she revealed.

“She probably got a cold or something,” Joy added. “So, feel better, Alyssa. We’re thinking of you.”

One fan tweeted, “Alyssa is absent today!!!!!”

“AFG is out sick,” a second viewer questioned.

“I hope Alyssa feels better but I’m ok with her being absent today,” a third fan admitted, before adding, “Wish Whoopi came in.”

“Alyssa’s out for the day,” another fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Yay”

On Thursday, Joy was missing from The View, but Whoopi didn’t explain her absence.

Thosts walked out on to the set to Jennifer Lopez’s hit, Jenny from the Block, as the singer was scheduled to appear later in the show.

Noticeably absent from the line-up of hosts was Joy, and viewers were only used to her being out on Mondays, her usual day off.

Though Joy was missing without warning or explanation, Ana filled in at the table.

The 52-year-old normally appears on The View on Mondays and Fridays, but will also sometimes join for special episodes and when co-hosts are sick or on vacation.

“Ana’s there today,” one surprised fan simply wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

“Of course Ana is here today,” a second viewer wrote.

When Joy returned to the table on Friday, she also didn’t share why she had been out the day before.
