The ongoing legal battle surrounding It Ends With Us has unexpectedly placed rising actress Isabela Ferrer in the spotlight—not just for her role in the film, but also for alleged tensions with Blake Lively.

Ferrer, who plays the teenage version of Lively’s character, Lily Bloom, has been at the center of social media discussions after clips of their joint interviews surfaced online. Viewers pointed out instances where Lively appeared to dominate conversations, often speaking over Ferrer or leaving her little room to contribute.

One viral TikTok video highlighted these interactions, with a user commenting, “I’ve never heard someone say so much and nothing at the same time. It’s unreal.” YouTube commenters echoed similar sentiments, with one noting that while both actresses were being interviewed, Lively continuously overshadowed Ferrer, even when questions were directed at the younger star.

Some, however, suggested that Ferrer’s quiet presence actually worked in her favor, subtly exposing Lively’s tendency to control the narrative.

Industry professionals weighed in on the controversy. Kara Schmiemann, Senior Director at Red Banyan, emphasized that experienced actors should uplift newcomers rather than monopolize the spotlight. “Women in Hollywood should set an example by supporting new talent and giving them a platform,” she told Fox News Digital.

On the other hand, Doug Eldridge of Achilles PR dismissed the allegations as intentional bullying, suggesting that Lively’s seniority in the industry naturally placed her at the forefront of media engagements. “This is more about experience and hierarchy than a deliberate attempt to overshadow Ferrer,” he explained.

Despite the online backlash, Ferrer has maintained a positive stance regarding her experience with Lively. In an interview with People Magazine, she described Lively as “an angel” and recalled a touching moment early in production. According to Ferrer, Lively reassured her by saying, “I want you to know that this role is just as much yours as it is mine.”

However, Ferrer’s involvement in It Ends With Us has extended beyond the interview controversy, as she was recently linked to the legal battle between the film’s director, Justin Baldoni, and Lively. Court documents revealed that text messages allegedly exchanged between Ferrer and Baldoni were submitted as evidence in Baldoni’s $400 million lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist.

Baldoni, who is suing for defamation and extortion, claims that Lively encouraged cast members to distance themselves from him. Ferrer was among those who reportedly unfollowed Baldoni on social media and was absent from promotional events alongside him. Legal filings contrast this behavior with her earlier praise for the director, citing messages in which Ferrer called him “a wonderful, smart, and sincere director” and described her experience on set as “life-changing.”

Schmiemann believes that Ferrer’s career will remain largely unaffected by the legal drama. “She appears to be an innocent bystander in this situation, and her interactions with Baldoni have only been appreciative and professional,” she said.

Eldridge, however, cautioned that if new evidence emerges suggesting a deeper involvement, Ferrer could face some fallout. “For now, she should focus on staying neutral. The best move would be to avoid taking sides and concentrate on her next steps in Hollywood.”

While the controversy surrounding It Ends With Us continues to unfold, Ferrer remains in an unusual position—garnering more attention due to the film’s off-screen drama than for her actual performance. Nonetheless, industry insiders predict that the rising star will move past the turmoil and continue building her career.
