The actress, 45, who is currently in the city for work, showed off her impeccable sense of style as she donned a stylish purple satin maxi dress.

The How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days star wrapped up warm in a chic black leather trench coat which featured feather cuffs and a belt to cinch in her tiny waist.

She added inches to her frame with a pair of strappy black platform heels and toted her essentials in a black quilted Chanel bag.

To complete her look, Kate styled her blonde locks in voluminous waves and wore a radiant palette of makeup.

The star appeared in high spirits as she beamed for the cameras while strolling down the street.

Her outing comes after she and her fiancé Danny Fujikawa, 38, put on a very loved-up display as they shared a smooch on the red carpet at the Running Point premiere last week.

The actress-turned-singer and musician Danny exuded happiness as they enjoyed a glitzy night out at The Egyptian Theatre Hollywood in Los Angeles.

For the star-studded evening, Kate was a vision in a champagne-toned Roberto Cavalli gown, which teased her cleavage with sexy cutouts.

Meanwhile, Danny looked dapper in a black two-piece suit which they layered over a crisp white shirt.

Kate stars as the lead Isla Gordon in Running Point which sees her being overlooked her whole life.

But is soon appointed President of the LA Waves basketball team, a family business.

And after a lifetime of being unnoticed, she aims to prove she was the right choice for the job despite skepticism.

The Netflix show also stars Brenda Song as Ali Lee and Max Greenfield as Lev Levy.

Kate has sons Ryder, 20, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, Bingham, 12, with her former partner Matt Bellamy as well as five-year-old daughter Rani with Danny.  

Earlier last year, Kate opened up about managing the dynamics of her ‘patchwork’ family.

She told People: ‘We are very connected, and we are very close. Love can change form. It’s interesting when you have that modern family; there’s so much love for all the kids!’

‘I think the thing that’s so unique about my life is that in this very patchwork family, we all have figured it out … The kids feel like they have this huge family.’

The Glass Onion star noted that even her exes’ children are ‘like sisters’ to her youngest and that her clan has been ‘nurtured’ in a way that she believes is not all too common.

‘My exes’ daughters and Rani are like sisters … There is something that has been able to be nurtured in our family that is personally what I think is, it’s very rare.’

The Talk About Love singer is even keen to babysit Lovella, four, – who he has with wife Elle Evans.

Kate is said to be ‘so happy’ to have what she calls a ‘real family unit’ around her because she can see everyone feels ‘safe’ amid the setup.

She said: ‘I’m like ‘Yeah, bring her over!’ And I’m sitting with all the kids and I’m like, I am so happy we have this real family unit that’s big. It’s beautiful.’

‘Everybody’s open to it and understands it’s the most mature thing for the kids. And you can see it in them — they feel loved, they feel protected, they feel safe.’
