The big game is known for attracting some big flavor and even bigger personality, and it’s never been more true than now, as the festivities are set to occur in New Orleans, the home of the epic Mardi Gras season.

Ahead of the game time excitement, Fat Tuesday, a chain that got its start in New Orleans, is honoring its roots and hometown spirit by collaborating with Cardi B’s vodka-infused whipped cream Whipshots to add to seasonally inspired frozen drinks (or any at all) at their locations.

This includes, of course, a frozen drink inspired by the legendary New Orleans specialty, King Cake, in what they are calling their Queen Cake Combo, which will include specialty King Cake and Strawberry flavors, King Cake flavored Whipshots, and Malibu. This combo will be available for a limited time at Fat Tuesday New Orleans and Fat Tuesday Las Vegas.

But, as the big game is based in NOLA, a lot of the focus will be there,as the brand is also going to be a part of Beachers Madhouse’s Big Game Weekend, which will include a performance by Cardi B, as well as using this big weekend to create an extra-big cocktail – they are creating what they promise will be the world’s largest daiquiri. In preparation for this, Jeff Beacher invested over $250,000, including six months of planning and engineering just to construct the massive steel container that the Fat Tuesday Daiquiri will be poured into.

“We didn’t want to just beat the record, we wanted to crush it,” said Alex Monahan, Chief Executive Officer of Fat Tuesday in an email interview. “Previous title-holders held the record fill at around 250 gallons. But we’re Fat Tuesday – big, bold and partying hard are the essence of who we are, so we needed to take it a big step further. We decided to beat the competition and claim the title with a 350-gallon fill.”
