Sophie Cunningham has maintained a relatively private approach to her romantic life despite being a public figure.

Born in Columbia, Missouri, the 28-year-old Cunningham has become one of the faces of the WNBA.

The 2019 second-round WNBA draft pick really gained a ton of followers throughout the 2024 season as she became a regular to go viral with her outfits.

In August 2024, she made her biggest splash when she arrived for a game in a water color-esque, off-the-shoulder dress with a thigh-high slit.

The dress also featured two abdomen cutouts, showing off her bikini tan lines. She paired the orange and teal mini-dress with various accessories.

Not everybody was a fan of what Sophie Cunningham wore that night, but she certainly made tremendous waves.

Despite being insanely talented on the court and gorgeous at the same time, Cunningham has not been in a serious relationship recently.

Jaylen Brown might want out? Jazz into J-Rich? Dissecting trade rumbles and strategies with Adam Kaufman
With the 2022 NBA trade deadline less than two weeks away, Silly Season — that time of year you can’t trust a trade rumor further than you can throw it — has arrived. And with it, new reports that Jaylen Brown might want out of the Boston Celtics if things don’t improve with the team moving forward, plus whispers the Utah Jazz (headed by former Celtics president Danny Ainge) might have eyes for Josh Richardson on the trade market. How much stock should we put in such rumors? Does it matter if the reporter has impeccable bonafides? What should the team’s front office be considering regarding the players they have now should teams come calling? Are there players Boston needs to be shopping ahead of the Feb. 10 deadline? So many questions and we might just be warming up with several staring contests between rival GMs already starting to get further entrenched, so for this week’s CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast, we’re joined by fellow CLNS alum Adam Kaufman to talk all things Celtics and trade deadline.  Listen to the clip embedded above to get up to speed with the latest rumors and facts percolating up as the moratorium on dealing players in the 2021-22 season draws close. On just how scared Boston should be of the Philadelphia 76ers with Ky Carlin
With the tilt against the Milwaukee Bucks in the rearview mirror, the Boston Celtics train their sights on the last marquee matchup remaining in the 2022-23 regular season against the Philadelphia 76ers. Though some of the suspense of the regular season has been dimmed by the Celtics’ failure to deliver against eminently beatable opponents late in the stretch run, a win over the Sixers would go a long way toward preventing a slide to the third seed while throwing some much-needed momentum Boston’s way. And Philly could very well be an obstacle between the Celtics and a return to the 2023 NBA Finals, too, depending on how they are playing and the health they are in once the postseason is underway. How dangerous are the 76ers in the playoffs for Boston? Are they trending towards full health for a change at the end of the season? What else should Celtics fans want to know about this iteration of their Atlantic Division foes? To answer all of these questions and more, the hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast — powered by Fan Duel and Better Help — linked up with Ky Carlin of Sixers Wire to get us up to speed on everything we need to know about Philly ahead of their Tuesday meeting and potential playoff series. Just recently, Sophie Cunningham held a Q&A with her Instagram followers when one follower asked why she wasn’t married yet.

Cunningham had fun with it as she shared a video of her chugging a drink alongside her response.

“I’ve received this question A LOT,” Cunningham replied. “I think it’s cause I’m a rat and an embarrassment to society. Also, this was all ice and doesn’t do my skill any justice. But back to being not married, it’ll happen hopefully before I die CAUSE WON’T HE DO IT.”

Former Phoenix Mercury Sophie Cunningham talked to reporters on Tuesday for the first time as a member of the Indiana Fever.

She was traded back in February.

The Indiana Fever acquired the guard and the No. 19 selection in the 2025 WNBA Draft from the Phoenix Mercury.

The Fever also received Jaelyn Brown from the Dallas Wings, with the two teams also swapping Third Round picks in the 2027 WNBA Draft. In exchange, the Wings receive forward NaLyssa Smith and the Connecticut Sun receive the No. 8 selection in the 2025 WNBA Draft from Indiana.

Cunningham is now playing for another team after spending six years with the Mercury.

She has played in 182 games in her career and shot 42.2% from the field and 36.2% from beyond the arc.
