Fans have hailed the Joe Rogan Podcast as the best in the world. Over the years, Rogan has hosted high-profile guests like Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and several UFC superstars. However, former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor has recently stirred up a massive social media buzz by calling out Rogan for a podcast appearance.

The Irish superstar hasn’t competed since suffering a leg injury in 2021. His post made fans believe that McGregor referred to himself as the guest. The Notorious contacted Rogan on social media, teasing a potential conversation. McGregor wrote, “What’s up Joe Rogan my man I messaged you. Are you looking for a guest on the podcast, I have a great one for you!”

This created a buzz among fans, who quickly flooded McGregor’s post with comments. One fan wrote, “We badly need this!”

One fan questioned why Rogan has never had McGregor on his podcast.

Another fan asked if McGregor was the guest and hoped it would be him.

Midrange theories, Celtics slumps, and Jaylen’s value with Seth Partnow
When it comes to using analytics to get a fresh perspective on things, there are few in the game with a better angle on that than The Athletic’s Seth Partnow. Former Head of Basketball Research for the Milwaukee Bucks and recent author of the new book “The Midrange Theory: Basketball’s Evolution in the Age of Analytics” (pre-order it here!), Partnow joined your usual hosts Alex Goldberg, Cameron Tabatabaie, and Justin Quinn on the most recent edition of the CLNS Media podcast “Celtics Lab” to talk about his new book and all things analytics. Get ready to have some of your assumptions about this team, its coaching, and even some especially contentious recently rumored trade proposals challenged on one of our favorite pods in recent memory. If you are a regular listener to the Celtics Lab, it’s clear you love the team, basketball, and quite possibly both, and we have met very few people who enjoy talking hoops more than Partnow. Check out the clip embedded above to hear everything from what we expected out of Robert Williams III in the new Celtics offense to why some triple-doubles (we see you, Magic Johnson) are more meaningful than others. Talking COVID-19, vaccination and the NBA with In the Bubble’s Andy Slavitt
Much of the conversation ahead of the 2021-22 NBA season circulating in the NBA media has revolved around something that isn’t necessarily a basketball conversation, though it has pervaded virtually all aspects of contemporary life. We are of course talking about COVID-19 vaccination in the league, and in particular some especially vaccine-resistant players who occupy positions of considerable influence. But rather than making the story about those individuals, the hosts of the “Celtics Lab” podcast Justin Quinn, Cam Tabatabaie, and Alex Goldberg dug deep in the hopes of re-setting the narratives a bit surrounding how we should engage those persons and the issue of vaccine hesitancy (and more pernicious anti-vaccine sentiments) in society more generally. It can be hard for some of us in the media to see Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, and others resistant to making choices for the common good, but a steady stream of fan and media ire is almost certainly going to do little to change their minds on how they can best use their platforms (and bodies) to make us all safer (and teams perhaps more successful) in the midst of a pandemic.  To that end, we were incredibly lucky to have Andy Slavitt of the “In the Bubble with Andy Slavitt” podcast to talk on the intersection of public health in an era of COVID-19, the NBA and society at large. Andy has worked with the last three presidents on issues of public health, most recently serving as President Biden’s COVID-19 advisor. We hope you find this podcast as informative and helpful in coping with and making progress on this viral scourge affecting all of our lives as we did. Why Boston is probably not making big moves at the deadline with Yossi Gozlan
With the Boston Celtics rolling and their path to hanging Banner 18 looking more possible than it has in many years, you can’t fault fans of the storied ball club for hoping for a reunion with former Boston big men Daniel Theis or Kelly Olynyk. Or failing that, team president Brad Stevens getting a deal done for rumored target Isaiah Stewart to fortify the team’s frontcourt. But even fairly modest trades like these are probably not in the cards for the Celtics this season, who can’t follow through with an offer that makes sense given the exigencies of the NBA’s new collective bargaining agreement or the team’s current structure. But the team will almost certainly make at least a few lesser moves to get better ahead of the NBA’s 2024 trade deadline in Early February, so the hosts of CLNS Media’s “Celtics Lab” podcast linked up with Cap Sheets’ Yossi Gozlan to try to project what it is Boston actually will end up doing. We also get into why those fun but unrealistic deals bringing back Celtics alumni or Beef Stew are unlikely or impossible, and get caught up on the last Boston news of 2023. Boston beats the odds again, turns garbage to gold to force Game 7
Once, a wise man told the fans of the Boston Celtics that anything was possible. And in Game 6 of the 2023 Eastern Conference finals as the Celtics could have let their title aspirations and their season slip through their fingers as Jimmy Butler made free throws to put the Miami Heat up 1 with just 3 seconds left, Boston’s Derrick White remembered that fact. A miraculous tip-in won the game for the Celtics and put Boston in a position to be the first team in the history of the NBA to overcome a 0-3 series deficit on their way to punching a ticket to face the Denver Nuggets in the 2023 NBA Finals and another chance at winning Banner 18. They will do it on Monday at home, playing for history on their home court of TD Garden. The hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast sat down postgame to talk over a memory that will live on in Celtics lore for the ages. As well as what they expect to see in the best thing the NBA playoffs has to offer — a Game 7. The Celtics Lab podcast is brought to you by Fan Duel and Better Help. Learn more about your ad choices. Viral moments are crucial for any MMA promotion, and Conor McGregor excels at creating them. His star power and charisma draw massive attention, exactly what BKFC president Dave Feldman values. Recently, Feldman explained why McGregor is the perfect face for the promotion. While his rumored fight with Logan Paul generated buzz, it later fell through due to internal issues. However, McGregor’s involvement with BKFC has already made a significant impact.

In a chat with Ariel Helwani, Feldman shared that the goal was to let McGregor take center stage and bring excitement to the organization. “We brought him in to get in the middle of the fighters, talk, and create viral moments. That’s what he does best,” Feldman said, emphasizing that McGregor’s presence elevates BKFC’s visibility.
