Many people struggle to keep a straight face during serious moments. Cleveland Cavaliers’ Jarrett Allen is definitely one of them. During the Cavs’ 129-123 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, Allen provided a perfect example.

The incident occurred in the third quarter when Memphis guard Desmond Bane and Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell got tangled up on the floor while scrambling for the ball. As both players wrestled for control, teammates and team staff rushed over to diffuse the situation.

While the scene escalated, cameras caught Allen cracking up alongside Memphis forward Santi Aldama, sharing a laugh in the middle of the commotion. It’s really unexpected, especially with the opponent.

Despite the heated scuffle, the game continued, though not without consequences. Both Mitchell and Bane were slapped with technical fouls for their roles in the incident. Additionally, Grizzlies star Ja Morant and Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson received technical fouls for intensifying the altercation.

Jarrett Allen’s Team Clinch Seventh Straight Win

The Cavaliers’ win marked their seventh consecutive victory, and several players delivered standout performances. Jarrett Allen contributed a double-double, finishing with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and an assist.

Despite being involved in the scuffle, Mitchell led the team with 33 points, along with two rebounds and six assists. Evan Mobley scored 25 points, while Ty Jerome added 26 points and five rebounds to secure the Cavs’ hard-fought win.
