The Entire Internet Slams Angel Reese For Poor Performance Against Vinyl BC After Calling for WNBA Pay Raise

Angel Reese wants it all from the WNBA, but her recent performance is not standing by her side. During her latest outing for the Rose BC against the Vinyl BC, Reese’s showing was far from commendable.

A video recently went viral where Reese was struggling to put in a layup against the Vinyl BC’s defense. Despite multiple tries, it ended in an unsuccessful attempt just to find herself humiliated on the internet.

WNBA fans did not hold back as they criticized Reese’s performance during the game. Despite finishing with a double-double, 10 points, and 13 rebounds, Reese’s shooting was lackluster. She went 5-13 from the field with no attempts from three-point range. However, social media was abuzz with mocking comments for her struggles with layups and midrange shots.

The social media humiliation came in the wake of the Chicago Sky star’s voicing for fair pay for WNBA stars. While the game is gaining popularity and rising ratings, it has led players like Angel Reese and Dijonai Carrington to advocate for higher salaries.

With the existing collective bargaining agreement (CBA) set to expire and the WNBPA opting out, players are preparing for negotiations that could result in significant changes by the fall of 2025.

Reese recently voiced for fair compensation as the league is already growing. Carrington also supported the Sky rookie’s endorsement. Additionally, Reese expressed her urgency in attending player union meetings and hinted at the potential for a strike if their demands are not met.

On just how scared Boston should be of the Philadelphia 76ers with Ky Carlin
With the tilt against the Milwaukee Bucks in the rearview mirror, the Boston Celtics train their sights on the last marquee matchup remaining in the 2022-23 regular season against the Philadelphia 76ers. Though some of the suspense of the regular season has been dimmed by the Celtics’ failure to deliver against eminently beatable opponents late in the stretch run, a win over the Sixers would go a long way toward preventing a slide to the third seed while throwing some much-needed momentum Boston’s way. And Philly could very well be an obstacle between the Celtics and a return to the 2023 NBA Finals, too, depending on how they are playing and the health they are in once the postseason is underway. How dangerous are the 76ers in the playoffs for Boston? Are they trending towards full health for a change at the end of the season? What else should Celtics fans want to know about this iteration of their Atlantic Division foes? To answer all of these questions and more, the hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast — powered by Fan Duel and Better Help — linked up with Ky Carlin of Sixers Wire to get us up to speed on everything we need to know about Philly ahead of their Tuesday meeting and potential playoff series. Boston gets to work teambuilding with Gallinari deal, Brogdon trade with Kory Waldron
The Boston Celtics were, by most accounts, not going to make much if any moves until the weekend got here. But whether that was a smoke screen or whether a happy accident set the Celtics team building wheels into motion, the team that represented the NBA’s Eastern Conference in the 2022 NBA Finals just got quite a bit better. It started with the team landing long-coveted veteran wing Danilo Gallinari, and went into hyperdrive with the trade for Indiana Pacers point guard Malcolm Brogdon, the Celtics sending out a top-12 protected first-round pick, center Daniel Theis, wing Aaron Nesmith, and three rarely-played deep rotation players. To get a feel for how Brogdon will impact a Finals squad that gave up no core players to bring on the Indiana floor general, we brought on host of the Off the Glass “Full Access Pacers” podcast, Kory Waldron. Your usual hosts Alex Goldberg and Justin Quinn linked up with Waldron to talk all things Brogdon trade, Celtics team building, and plenty more offseason action. What went wrong in Game 1 for Boston, and what we’ll see in Game 2 to fix it with Barry Ebua
The Boston Celtics dropped Game 1 of their Eastern Conference Semifinals series against the Philadelphia 76ers 119-115 despite Sixers big man Joel Embiid missing the game due to a sprained knee. The win came from a career playoff-high outing from James Harden, who shined in Embiid’s absence with the Celtics struggling to adjust their defense to stop him. What went wrong for Boston? Who could have done a better job on the court or behind the clipboard? How worried should we be about Game 2? Will Embiid be able to play in it, or can we expect more small-ball Sixers wreaking havoc on the Celtics’ defense? To take stock of the loss and talk about what might be coming for Game 2, the hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast sat down with “Pro Fan Sports” podcast host Barry Ebua. After, we hear from Cameron Tabatabaie live from TD Garden to relay what head coach Joe Mazzulla and Boston’s players had to say in light of the loss. Learn more about your ad choices. Internet Fans Slam Angel Reese For Poor Sequence During Vinyl BC Game

Despite the ribbing, Rose BC secured a decisive victory over Vinyl BC with a score of 74-46. Veteran guard Chelsea Gray led the way with 33 points, and Brittney Sykes added 18 points. This win positioned Rose BC in second place in the Unrivaled standings.

However, the mid-game fumble has led to widespread online scrutiny for Reese.

“But she wants to be paid more,” a fan commented.

“This the one saying the WNBA gonna go into a lockout if she doesn’t get what she wants lmaooo,” another fan commented.

“But remember she thinks she should be paid as much as NBA players are,” a fan joked.

“She fell on her wrist might’ve injured and played through it btw until the coach took her out the tape is on her wrist,” a fan pointed.

“How will the sport of basketball survive if she sits out?” a fan asked.

Unfortunately, Reese’s game took a turn when she suffered a wrist injury in the third quarter, leading to her exit from the game.
