“Social Media Senses Tension in Suns Locker Room After Heated Exchange Between Kevin Durant and Mike Budenholzer During Suns-Clippers Game”

How Disappointing are the Phoenix Suns? | THE ODD COUPLE - YouTube

The Phoenix Suns have secured a 119-117 victory against the Los Angeles Clippers. But rumors of internal tension continue to cloud the team. A recent viral clip involving Kevin Durant and head coach Mike Budenholzer has only intensified speculation about unrest within the locker room.

During the Suns’ recent matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers at PHX Arena, an interaction between Durant and Budenholzer caught fans’ attention. In the first quarter, as the Suns took a timeout, Budenholzer appeared to say something to Durant while extending his hand toward him.

However, Durant was visibly frustrated as he pulled his arm away and exchanged words with the coach. Though the exact conversation was unclear, Durant’s body language suggested clear discontent.

This moment comes amid reports of friction within the Suns, particularly between Devin Booker and Budenholzer. With the team underperforming this season, sitting as the eleventh seed in the West, the speculation around their chemistry has only grown.

NBA Fans React To Kevin Durant’s Heated Exchange With Mike Budenholzer

NBA fans wasted no time in analyzing the viral footage. Many believe that the Suns’ locker room is in turmoil. Some speculated that Budenholzer’s days in Phoenix might be numbered, believing that his strained relationships with the team’s stars could lead to his dismissal. Meanwhile, others predicted that Durant himself could be the one to leave.

Boston snatches victory from the jaws of defeat in Game 6 with Greg Brueck-Cassoli
With the Boston Celtics’ season — and perhaps much more — on the brink in Game 6 of their 2023 Eastern Conference semifinals series with the Philadelphia 76ers, the Celtics needed to put it all out on the court for a win. And somehow, despite a 0-of-10 first half for Jayson Tatum that saw the Duke alum put up just one make from the floor in the third quarter and 18 turnovers for the team, Boston did exactly that. A shift back to the defense-first, double-big lineup of Al Horford and Robert Williams III paid early dividends, and despite things coming a bit unglued for much of the middle of the game, Tatum getting hot from 3 late saved the season and perhaps more. To talk about the improbable, dramatic win for the Celtics, the hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast linked up with High Off the Glass’ Greg Brueck-Cassoli. We also (very) briefly touch on the other series around the 2023 NBA Playoffs and look ahead to Game 7 on Mother’s Day at TD Garden. CL Pod 69: On LeBron Joining (and Kyrie Leaving) The Celtics
With the offseason in full effect for all thirty NBA teams, attention now turns to the process of assembling next season’s squads, and with the Boston Celtics poised to be among the league’s elite, you’d think it would look to be a slow summer. And you’d be wrong, if analysts like Stephen A. Smith are correct that LeBron James will meet with Danny Ainge this summer about joining the team. There’s also (potentially related) rumblings former LeBron teammate and current Celtics star Kyrie Irving may not want to stick around after next season, a plethora of trade proposals (most of them bad) to consider. Join Mark Allison and Justin Quinn as they try to make sense out of all this unexpected drama, as well as getting caught up on other news within the organization and around the league.  Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/celtics-lab-nba-basketball-podcast/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices. Despite the off-court drama, Durant delivered a strong performance against the Clippers. He finished with 34 points on 10-of-22 shooting, a perfect 10-of-10 from the free-throw line, and seven rebounds.

The Suns’ victory improved their season record to 29-34. However, the tension on the sidelines remains a major talking point as the Suns move toward the final stretch of the season.
