Since joining the Golden State Warriors after a lengthy trade saga with the Miami Heat, Jimmy Butler has wasted no time making a significant impact. Butler has quickly become a driving force for the Warriors, helping the team win four of their last five games. His presence has elevated the team’s performance and brought a new level of leadership that fans and players are embracing.

Butler once again showcased his all-around game in Friday’s dominant 132-108 victory over the Sacramento Kings. He finished with 17 points, three rebounds, and seven assists. However, it wasn’t just his stats that caught everyone’s attention. During the first half, Butler was seen coaching on the sidelines, using a whiteboard to explain a play to teammates Draymond Green and Brandin Podziemski.

Butler’s performance wasn’t just about leadership; it was historic as well. With his 17-point outing, he became the fastest player in Warriors history to reach at least 100 points, 25 rebounds, and 25 assists in his first five games.

Meanwhile, Podziemski also had a standout night, scoring 21 points, three rebounds, and five assists. Though struggling offensively with just six points, Draymond Green contributed with eight rebounds and nine assists.

Fans Troll Steve Kerr After Jimmy Butler Coaches Warriors Mid-Game

While Jimmy Butler explained the play to Green and Podziemski, both players listened intently. It was like they were treating Butler’s advice with the seriousness one would expect from head coach Steve Kerr.

Fans on social media quickly praised Butler’s leadership. Many highlighted how seamlessly he’s integrated into the Warriors’ system. However, the moment also sparked some unexpected reactions, as fans humorously trolled Steve Kerr, joking that Butler might as well take over coaching duties.
