Sneakerheads will appreciate this one. A “Jordan Room” is not something you hear about every day.

Sneaker collecting has become quite a hobby over the years, with the Jordan Brand being the chief supplier for both basketball and non-basketball fans. Jordans are, by far, the most popular sneakers in the world, which is why Michael Jordan has found it easy to maintain his billionaire status despite having retired over 20 years ago.

Collectors take their stacking of Js very seriously, though not all are created equal.

Midseason Celtics Bluesky NBA basketball mailbag
Fans of the Boston Celtics now find themselves in what is probably the dullest part of the NBA’s 2024-25 regular season. At present, the Celtics are on the outside looking in with regard to the 2024-25 NBA Cup knockout round in Las Vegas, with a slate of mostly uninspiring opponents coming at Boston at a fairly relaxed pace in terms of the frequency of games. One such individual in Scottsdale, Arizona, has gone to lengths to acquire said sneakers and keep them in pristine condition while displaying them in one of the most extraordinary ways ever. But they’re now letting their custom Jordan Room go as they’re selling their mansion.

The property, which has been advertised on Zillow Gone Wild, is going for $23.5 million, with the sneaker display room alone said to be valued at $300K.

There’s A Lot More To The Mansion Than The “Jordan Room”

Of course, not every interested buyer will care that the house includes such a space, but it could mean a whole lot to the right one.

Hopefully, the property will be sold to someone who is crazy about sneakers. But there’s still a whole lot more to appreciate.

According to Zillow, the mansion is fully furnished and has a golf simulator and practice range, a jogging track all around it, an underground basketball court that over 60 NBA players have visited, which has a professional scoreboard, lockers, five bathrooms, and private parking.

As for the Jordan Room, it comes with 290 pairs of sneakers but can accommodate up to 325.
