When this news surfaced on social media, NBA fans began to troll the Celtics. However, the trolling continued even after the recent game against the Lakers, as new updates emerged on social media.

The Celtics played their star players, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, for over 40 minutes in their game against the Lakers. A user named LakeShowYo shared these statistics on X (formerly Twitter), igniting a debate among fans. In their post, they wrote, “This was their Game 7. They rested their entire team in the last game to prepare for a Lakers squad missing two starters.”

Tatum played for 45 minutes and achieved a double-double, scoring 40 points, along with 8 assists and 12 rebounds. Brown also made a significant impact on the court, contributing 31 points, 2 assists, and 6 rebounds. Their strong performances helped the Celtics secure a 111-101 victory over the Lakers.
