LeBron James Reveals Austin Reaves’ Ejection Was Due To Excessive Use Of F-Bombs, But Questions Second Technical

The Los Angeles Lakers had a disappointing 100-97 showup against the Charlotte Hornets. The game went ugly midway through when Austin Reaves got ejected from the game for his behavior. However, while the ejection resulted from the verbal back and forth between Reaves and the ref, LeBron James knew what exactly happened.

Recently, James addressed the media regarding the controversial ejection of his teammate. Reaves, who was vocal about a missed call during the game, received an unexpected second technical foul, leading to his automatic ejection. However, LeBron described the event as deflating for the team. Having played 27 minutes and contributed eight points before his departure, Reaves’ absence loomed large in the second half.

“Obviously, [the ejection] deflated us a little bit. He had every right to argue the missed call, but what he said after that, I don’t think it warranted him getting kicked out,” LeBron said.

However, the Akron-bron superstar did not shy away from acknowledging what exactly went on the court. “That he said the f-bomb too many times. But he said it in the beginning, and he left it alone, and he says it’s pretty obvious. I think [official Rodney Mott] thought he said it again, but he didn’t say it again,” James added.

LeBron was quick to defend Reaves, emphasizing that his teammate had every right to protest the missed call. However, he questioned whether the second technical was justified, suggesting the officials misinterpreted Reaves’ comments. Now, the Lakers look to regroup against the Portland Trail Blazers.

LeBron James Dunk In Oregon Ducks Nike Sneakers Goes Viral

While the night ended disastrously for the Lakers, LeBron James tried his best to joy up the game. The superstar forward went viral after an electrifying dunk over former Lakers target Mark Williams during the nail-biting game.

With all eyes on him, LeBron caught most of the attention for his pair of exclusive Oregon Ducks Nike LeBron 22 PE sneakers. Designed specifically for the Oregon women’s basketball team, these shoes feature a striking white and green colorway. And when James went all in for the dunk, the sneakers shined as bright.

Despite LeBron’s sensational performance, which included 26 points and 11 assists, the Lakers came up just short. They lost 100-99 in their first game back after the All-Star Break. As LeBron prepares to face off against the Portland Trail Blazers next, many are left wondering if he’ll don those eye-catching Ducks sneakers once more.
