Is Kawhi Leonard Playing Tonight Against The Sacramento Kings? Latest Injury Update On Clippers Star

Kawhi Leonard continues to prove his value to the Los Angeles Clippers following his return from injury. His recent performance in a 105-95 victory over the New York Knicks showcased his importance to the team.

Leonard played a key role in securing a 105-95 win, contributing 20 points. With the performance, he moved past former Clippers teammate Paul George for 11th place on the franchise’s all-time scoring list.

Leonard remains committed to leading the Clippers as they prepare to face the Sacramento Kings on Sunday. Encouragingly, he is in peak condition and has not been listed on the team’s latest injury report. This ensures that the Clippers will have their star forward available on Sunday.

However, the Clippers’ injury report for the upcoming game includes several absences. Patrick Baldwin Jr., Cam Christie, Trentyn Flowers, and Seth Lundy remain out due to two-way contracts and assignments. Additionally, Norman Powell is sidelined with a right hamstring strain, while Ben Simmons is managing a left knee injury.

CLPod 74: The Cs teams that never were, late summer moves & more
Two months out from the start of the regular season, and nearly half as long from camp, more than a few of us are starting to get antsy without basketball to watch. With that in mind, we decided it was time to dust off the microphones and record an episode of the CLPod to talk about the (very few) moves of note going down since the last time we recorded two weeks ago.And with the team in a liminal space between seasons, neither last season’s Celtics nor the next, Mark Allison and Justin Quinn got to thinking about all the different ways this timeline of Boston’s journey from one contending squad to the next could have gone differently. So, we put our heads together, and tried to imagine how the Cs might look if Danny Ainge had kept the last title team together longer, or if Brad Stevens had said no, or if Boston hadn’t signed Al Horford, or…well, you’ll have to listen to hear them all.So, if you’re as ready as we are for some real, live NBA games that count, you’re going to have to wait a while. But if you want some news and analysis on not just this timeline, but several others we don’t happen to be on, buckle up and listen to this week’s CLPod – we have at least another month of doldrums ahead of us, and a lot to be thankful for, if our thought experiments are as realistic as we think they are.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/celtics-lab-nba-basketball-podcast/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices. Boston wins Game 4 vs. Miami, but lose Kristaps Porzingis; what happens next?
The Boston Celtics won Game 4 of their 2024 NBA Eastern Conference first round series with the Miami Heat to take a commanding 3-1 lead at Kaseya Center on Monday night, but the win came at a cost. The Celtics lost star big man Kristaps Porzingis to what is being described as a calf strain, and could miss substantial time as a result. How does Porzingis’ injury impact the rest of the series vs. the Heat? Assuming Boston advances (and we should), how do the team’s rotations change in terms of minutes distribution of frontcourt minutes change — and who gets them? The hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast took a deep dive into Boston’s Game 4 results and what it means for the team moving forward. We also take a quick look around the league at some other developments that may impact Boston as well, focusing on what we want to see in Game 5. CLAB 30: Un-[expletive]ing the Celtics’ vibe with the Riffsman
Before the Boston Celtics got back in the win column against the Denver Nuggets Tuesday night, it’s probably safe to say emotions surrounding the Celtics internally and among their fans were at a nadir for the season. With a .500 record and embarrassing losses driven in part by players the Celtics could have drafted, rumbles of ire and fingers of blame abounded. But a voice of reason emerged from the wilderness to help us at the Celtics Lab podcast in the form of the so-called “godfather of Weird Celtics Twitter” The Riffsman. If you know him, this is an episode you don’t want to miss as he guides back from the darkside in a most prescient manner. And if you don’t, stick around for the in-depth conversation on how to un-[expletive] the Celtics vibes, Bill Russell’s humanitarianism, and who might click with Boston’s big traded player exception. Join hosts Alex Goldberg and Cam Tabatabaie for an unbuttoned Lab, only made better by the Riffsman calling it like it is. Gearing up for a Brooklyn Nets-Boston Celtics collision with Nick Fay
The Boston Celtics will face the Brooklyn Nets later this week with the Eastern Conference’s top spot potentially at stake, and while a bit of the wind has been taken out of the proverbial sails of the matchup with Nets star Kevin Durant out for the game with a sprained MCL as well as an outside shot of Marcus Smart missing the contest with a contused knee, it will still be a very important game for the Celtics. More data for a potential postseason collision, the aforementioned top spot in play, and a chance to see if Boston will play the way they should despite the absence of KD all loom large. The growth of Brooklyn bigs Nick Claxton and Ben Simmons also figures to be a point of concern, and any time the team crosses paths with Kyrie Irving, things get intense. To that end, the hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast linked up with the host of the Off the Glass “Brooklyn Buzz” podcast Nick Fay to talk all things Celtics-Nets. The foursome get into how Durant’s absence may impact the MVP race, what sort of trade targets each squad might have interest in at the 2023 NBA trade deadline, and more. “Just being aggressive. He had the hot hand, made two shots, hitting tip-ins in that fourth quarter. I believe most of his points came in the fourth. He’s a competitor,” Leonard said.

Although the Clippers team has faced challenges, winning just four of their last ten games, Bogdanovic has provided valuable contributions. In his 11 games with the Clippers, the Clippers newest addition has averaged 11.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game.
