Caitlin Clark Had Everyones Jaws On The Floor Showing Off Her Impressive New Offseason Body Transformation In First Public Appearance

Caitlin Clark isn’t backing down. After a physically punishing rookie season in the WNBA, the Indiana Fever star has spent the offseason transforming her body. The reigning Rookie of the Year arrived at the league in 2024 as an elite scorer but quickly became a target for aggressive defenses. Now, she’s making sure she’s ready to dish out some punishment of her own.

Clark’s commitment to the weight room is paying off. Rather than spending her offseason overseas or playing in secondary leagues, she dedicated her time to strength training. The results are staggering. When Caitlin Clark showed up at the Big Ten Tournament on Friday, her noticeably stronger frame caught the attention of fans and analysts alike.

A Stronger, More Resilient Caitlin Clark

Listed at 6-foot-0 and 152 pounds when she entered the WNBA, Caitlin Clark took a beating during her debut season. Defenders leaned on her, threw elbows, and often resorted to cheap shots to slow her down. It didn’t stop her from leading the Fever to 20 wins, but she needed to bulk up to withstand the league’s physicality. So, she did.

Caitlin Clark has reportedly added at least two pounds of muscle since last season, focusing on upper-body strength. Photos from early in her rookie year compared to now show a clear transformation- her arms are visibly more defined, and her shoulders look stronger. The difference is night and day.

A Boston Celtics Festivus for the rest of us to get some gripes off of our chests
The Boston Celtics are seemingly stuck at around .500 midway through yet another season that was supposed to be the campaign that saw them finally ascend to contender status while a large part of the roster (and for that matter, the NBA) is in the league’s health and safety protocol after testing positive for COVID-19 despite the majority of the team being vaccinated. Between all this, the political zoo appearing on our televisions and cell phones on a daily basis, and a host of other disappointing to downright frightening things going on in the world at the moment, there is no limit to the things fans of the Celtics could — and should — be complaining about. To that end, on this week’s episode of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast, hosts Justin Quinn, Alex Goldberg, and Cameron Tabatabaie host a Festivus-inspired airing of the grievances for all things Boston Celtics, NBA, and beyond. We try to keep it mostly light in a bit of a dark patch in the NBA schedule with all the COVID-related news currently gripping the league (and put most of the pandemic related talk further towards the end), and touch on the team’s recent play and signing of former No. 10 pick Joe Johnson to keep things balanced. So, be sure to check out the clip embedded above to hear all there is to gripe about in the Celtics media sphere on up with your three favorite NBA curmudgeons. Where are they now? Keeping tabs on players from the past with Honest Larry
The Boston Celtics can finally concentrate on finding the players on finishing their roster with the Kevin Durant trade request from the Brooklyn Nets rescinded, and in so doing will likely create some new alumni in the process by bringing on a few new players in place of the depth that they had in the 2021-22 NBA season. But where are the players from Boston’s past signing for this upcoming season? What teams and leagues are they signing with? Who is making the leap into coaching? Who are still waiting for the logjam that is KD that just broke to open up some spots for them to sign with a team in the Association? For this episode of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast, we decided to take a trip down memory lane to get ourselves up to speed on where the alumni of the Celtics are going to spend the upcoming season.  To do that we enlisted friend of the pod and unofficial team Twitter historian Honest Larry, who linked up with your usual hosts Cameron Tabatabaie, Alex Goldberg, and Justin Quinn to figure out where these blasts from Boston’s past hang their hats (and their jerseys) now. With new head coach Stephanie White now leading the Fever, Indiana has its eyes set on a championship. Clark is expected to be the centerpiece of that effort. Her offensive firepower is undeniable, and with her added strength, she’ll be even harder to stop. Opposing defenses might want to think twice before knocking her around in 2025.
