Basketball fans witnessed several intense moments on the court during the matchup between the Detroit Pistons and the Indiana Pacers on January 16th. Several players engaged in heated trash talk throughout the game. Although the Pacers secured a 111-100 victory, Tyrese Haliburton is still facing criticism for his trash-talking in that game.

Former NBA star Tim Hardaway Sr. is clearly frustrated with Haliburton’s trash talk. During a recent guest spot on Gil’s Arena, the five-time NBA All-Star expressed that if he ever decided to come out of retirement, it would solely be to confront Haliburton.

If I go back and put on my sh** and suit up, I wanna go fu** up HaliburtonI wanna fu** him up. He talks so much sh**. I wanna go back and bust his motherfu**** a**. He talks so much sh**. He think he all that,” Hardaway Sr. said.

Hardaway Jr., son of the former NBA star, is currently a player for the Pistons. He actively engaged in some heated banter with Haliburton during the game on January 16th. This back-and-forth clearly explains why Tim Hardaway Sr. holds a grudge against the Pacers guard.

Tyrese Haliburton’s Performance In The Recent Game Against The Memphis Grizzlies

The Indiana Pacers recently went head-to-head with the Memphis Grizzlies in a thrilling matchup at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Star player Tyrese Haliburton truly shone, putting in an impressive 32 minutes on the court, where he scored 22 points, along with dishing out nine assists and pulling down five rebounds.

Myles Turner made a noteworthy impact as well; he achieved a double-double, racking up 17 points, two assists, and 10 rebounds in the same time frame. These remarkable performances fueled the Pacers to a 127-113 triumph over the Grizzlies.
