Ayesha Curry Catching Major Backlash Over Comments About Her Marriage And Kids

Once upon a time, Ayesha Curry was public enemy number one for always having something to say and going viral for all the wrong reasons.
She has chilled out in the past few years, but things kicked back up again this week.
Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry and chef Ayesha share four children: Riley, Ryan, Canon, and Caius.
Stephen and Ayesha’s romance has evolved over two decades. There is a reason why it has remained so strong.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Ayesha Curry revealed that her relationship with Stephen has always been and will continue to be the main priority over their children.
She explained that focusing on her relationship first allows them to raise their kids as “two happy people.”
“I think for us, our relationship always comes first. Then we’re parents,” Curry said.

“That works for us because then you have two happy people raising the kids in the house. So the family sector in our lives always comes first.”
Her comments sent social media into an outrage.
“This is why ppl don’t marry, priorities are misplaced and parents aren’t teaching their children anymore they’re letting the world do it,” one fan said.
“Yeah because she’s clingy as fu–! He’s fine, but b–ch, your kids should come first! 🙄,” a second stated.
“Nah, ain’t no PR rollouts gonna reverse ur guts being done in by other men. Esp in the downside of the kids🤦🤦 have some shame,” a third fan added.
“Didn’t know Ayesha was so foolish and selfish. I’m sure Steph would say kids come first,” another fan said of Ayesha Curry’s comments.
“The word of God is not to be disputed. We must get away from false teachers/doctrines &start reading the word of God for ourselves with understanding. Ephesians 5:21-33 are clear instructions for marriage. I encourage you to read b4 you get married. Your spouse comes b4 children,” another fan commented.
One final fan summed it up: “Smart couples know this. You can’t forget and neglect the actual relationship for the kids. What’s gonna happen when the kids leave the house and now you realize you don’t even know who the other person is because you’ve focused on solely the kids for the past 18 years…”
Ayesha Curry Once Said She Wanted More Male Attention

A comment Ayesha Curry made years ago has never been forgotten.
Curry, the wife of NBA star Steph Curry, made headlines in 2019 when she said in an interview that she felt insecure over the lack of male attention she receives.
“Something that really bothers me, and honestly has given me a sense of a little bit of an insecurity, is the fact that there are all these women throwing themselves [at Steph], but me, the past 10 years, I don’t have any of that, I have zero — this sounds weird, but — male attention,” Curry said. “And so then I begin to internalize, and I’m like, ‘Is something wrong with me?’”
Ayesha was heavily criticized back then and even now.
