Arman Tsarukyan thinks Justin Gaethje is not deserving of a title shot. After his comeback fight with Rafael Fiziev, Gaethje demanded a shot at the lightweight title. Gaethje stated that he has now won three out of his last four fights. And the only fight he lost was a highlight fight with Max Holloway. Surely, recovering from the thundering KO at UFC 300 was not easy. But Gaethje came back strongly to secure his victory over a gritty Fiziev. However, Tsarukyan is still not impressed with Gaethje’s antics.

Speaking on ‘The Schmo’ recently, Arman Tsrukyan stated that he does not think Gaethje is going to have a title shot. Instead, he will probably have to run it down with either Charles Oliveira or Tsarukyan himself.

“Gaethje wants to fight for the title. It makes sense to fight with me because nobody gonna give him title fight, it’s not gonna be fair. He gotta beat me or Oliveira to get a title fight. I think they gonna give me Oliveira or Gaethje, or maybe title fight. I don’t know yet,” said Tsarukyan.

Meanwhile, ahead of the matchup, Gaethje could be seen in a light mood with his opponent. He joked about why Fiziev was considered the favorite.

After coming off a long injury layoff, Rafael Fiziev accepted the Justin Gaethje fight on short notice. However, looking at the crowd reception, he got a little confused. Fiziev asked that although he had lost both of his previous bouts and hadn’t fought in a while, how was he still the favorite? Gaethje immediately had a hilarious reaction to share.

A miraculous tip-in won the game for the Celtics and put Boston in a position to be the first team in the history of the NBA to overcome a 0-3 series deficit on their way to punching a ticket to face the Denver Nuggets in the 2023 NBA Finals and another chance at winning Banner 18. They will do it on Monday at home, playing for history on their home court of TD Garden. I think it’s because I went to sleep last fight,” said Gaethje.

Well, things are surely getting interesting in the lightweight division. It now remains to be seen how the situation will hold up in the future.
