Former brunette bombshell Jaclyn Smith played a private detective on the smash hit 1970s series, Charlie’s Angels.

The fashion designer looked preened to perfection in the sparkly black and white festive jumper as she gazed outside the window.

Sporting Farah Fawcett-flicked hair, the star matched her Christmas jumper with a white pencil skirt.

The Golden Globe nominated star has traded in her dark locks for a lighter shade of honey blonde.

The golden-haired beauty captioned the post: “When the light hits your Christmas jumper just right.”

The star rose to fame as Kelly Garrett alongside Farrah Fawcett and Kate Jackson in the cult classic from 1976 until 1981.

The Texan native model, who has launched her own fragrance – appeared in all 110 episodes of the show until it ended after five years.

Her legendary sidekick Farrah Fawcett (Jill Munroe) died in 2009 after a long battle with cancer.

She boasts an impressive filmography of more than 50 films and TV appearances and was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1989.

The pin-up appeared briefly in Charlie’s Angels in 2003 alongside Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu in a training scene.

The American show — voted TV programme of the year in the UK twice during the 70s — also featured patriarch Charlie, who was never seen but always heard on a speakerphone that was surrounded by women.

Smith has been married four times: first to actor Roger Davis, then to actor Dennis Cole, then to Anthony, and finally to Brad Allen, her present spouse. Aside from her two children with Anthony, she has no other kids.

After starring in the television show Charlie’s Angels, Smith became an international superstar and has since gone on to build an enormously rich licensing and product empire.

Smith appeared in a number of films during her time on Charlie’s Angels, including Escape from Bogen County and Nightkill.

With her part in Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, she also received a Golden Globe nomination shortly after Charlie’s Angels was discontinued.

Over the next few years, he appeared in a number of other films, the most prominent of which was 1985’s Deja Vu.

In 2002, Jaclyn Smith was diagnosed with breast cancer but fortunately beat the disease.

She told New York Daily News previously: “My mammogram the year before (my diagnosis) was totally clear. I didn’t feel anything, no bump or lump.

“It’s so important that we take care of ourselves and get those regular check-ups… I’m here and I’m so grateful.”

Smith’s net worth is estimated to be $150million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
