VIDEO: Rapper A$AP Rocky Dove Over The Courtroom Seats & Into The Arms Of Singer Rihanna After Being Found Not Guilty Of Felony Assault
A$AP Rocky has a new lease on life, and Rihanna was right there to take in all of the emotions.
On Tuesday, the jury acquitted the rapper — who was accused of firing a semiautomatic handgun at his former friend and A$AP Mob member A$AP Relli in an altercation in 2021 — of two charges of felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm.
After the first verdict was read, Rocky couldn’t contain his excitement. He immediately jumped over the stand to hug his mother, sister, and partner, Rihanna.
He would also tell the jury, “Thank y’all for saving my life. Thank y’all for making the right decision.”
In a video circulating online, Rocky could be seen jumping over the stand to embrace his loved ones as soon as the verdict was announced.
This trial was a huge risk since Rocky reportedly rejected the plea deal offered in his Los Angeles gun trial.

TMZ reported that at the time, the 36-year-old rapper wasn’t interested in taking the plea bargain because it would “effectively end his career.”
Rihanna Broke Her Silence After A$AP Rocky Was Found Not Guilty
Rihanna shared a heartfelt message following news that her partner, A$AP Rocky, was found not guilty in his felony assault trial.
Rocky dove into the arms of his lady as a clerk read the not-guilty verdict at his trial on two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm.
“The Glory belongs to God and God alone,” she wrote on her Instagram story. “THANKFUL, HUMBLED BY HIS MERCY!”
Rihanna and Rocky went public with their relationship in 2020. They are parents of two children.
It was just back in 2023 when the legendary singer performed at Super Bowl LVII while pregnant with his child.
She reached over 121 million viewers, which was the 2nd most-watched Super Bowl halftime show at the time.
The show won two awards out of five nominations at the 75th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
