Star-Studded Season 25 Coach Performance On The Voice
The star-studded group of The Voice coaches united for a soulful rendition of Jackie DeShannon’s 1969 classic hit, “Put a Little Love in Your Heart.” The performance kicked off as Chance The Rapper and Reba McEntire sang the opening verse, before Dan + Shay and John Legend joined in moments later.
Donning all white ensembles and joined by a choir, the all-star group of coaches took viewers to church while trading verses throughout their performance.
Reba McEntire’s country twang blended seamlessly with Chance The Rapper’s urban flair, while Dan + Shay’s harmonies and John Legend’s smooth vocals flawlessly combined, making for a unique sound that mesmerized viewers.
“And the world will be a better place/ And the world will be a better place/ For you and me/ You just wait and see,” the quartet sang on the tune’s chorus before making their way to the second verse, “Another day goes by/ And still the children cry/ Put a little love in your heart/ You want the world to know/ We won’t let hatred grow/ Put a little love in your heart.”
Season 25 of The Voice will kick off on Monday, February 26 at 8/7c on NBC. The show will also be available the next day to stream on Peacock.
