Name That Tune Fans ‘Disappointed’ by Backstreet Boys Singer’s Answer, Questioning What Went Wrong

FANS of the show Name That Tune have been left shaking their heads at a recent contestant.
The Backstreet Boys member completely messed up an answer that was obvious to many.
It was a battle of the boybands on Tuesday night’s episode of Name That Tune.
Backstreet Boys’ Howie Dorough competed against 98 Degrees‘ Drew Lachey.
After the men competed against each other and even guessed their own songs, it was time for Bid a Note.
In this section of the show, the contestant can bid from one to 10 notes on how many notes they can guess the song in.
Randy Jackson plays the song on the piano and host Jane Krakowski gives them contestants a clue before they hear the song.
This mistake costed Howie, 50, to lose the game.
DON’T BE A CHICKEN!
The first clue was what Howie stumbled over.
“This party song will rustle your feathers,” Jane, 55, read.

Howie opened up the bidding since he was behind.
The Backstreet Boy said he could name the tune in eight notes while Drew, 47, said he could name it in three.
Drew guessed Shake Your Tailfeather, which Jane told him was incorrect.
This led Howie to get all 10 notes of the song.
And even after he heard all of it, he guessed it wrong.
“The Duck Song,” Howie said. “The Quack Quack Song.”
He cringed as he pretended to flap his imaginary wings.
Jane let him know that it was The Chicken Dance and said they thought it was a giveaway.
FANS IN SHOCK
After Howie couldn’t guess the simple song, fans on X, formerly Twitter, expressed their shock.
“ITS THE CHICKEN DANCE, HOW DID THEY GET THAT WRONG?! #NameThatTune,” one fan asked.
“How do you not know the chicken dance @howied ? come on Howard! #namethattune,” a Backstreet Boys fan wondered.
“Howie didn’t know the chicken dance?! #NameThatTune,” a third tweeted.
“The Chicken Dance, Howie! #NameThatTune,” another wrote, alongside a gif of Chef Gordan Ramsey face palming.
To that, someone replied, “You should’ve seen my reaction, I was disappointed too.”
